You should be able to encrypt the hard drive with any software.

Hello,

 

I have 1.5T WD green from the new series (maybe you'll find my post from yesterday about the performance issue).

 

I am using Bestcrypt Vol.Encr. as well. As soon as you use the align utility it seems to work fine. I am still testing if it stable, but it has to be :smileyvery-happy:
