I just bought a WD20EARX drive with AF. I've been reading about this and I can't seem to find an answer on the following:
I want to use the drive as primary drive with 2 partitions (one for the OS and the other for data).
I'm using Windows XP and will be using the WD align tool.
Do I need to have the jumper on 7-8 or not? From what I read, this jumper setting is for a single partition under XP, but it doesn't say what to do with multiple partitions under XP.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks and regards,
Ivan

You need to run the WD Align, the jumper only works if you are using one single partition
