WD 3tb Caviar Green

     I have a Dell E521 with Vista Home Premium as the original OS but have sense installed the Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade. I installed the 3tb internal hard drive for storage only with no problems. Everything was fine until i inatalled a OCZ 60 gb SSD to run just my operating system. After all the installing was done that's when my dell started recognizing only 746gb of the 3tb drive.

 

My question .......... is it a driver problem, firmware problem or what?

 

     I have tried just about everything under the sun i.e. BIOS upgrade, chipset driver install and even called Dell support with no success ( kept sending me to different Departments until I just hung up on them)

Is your Dell a 32bit or 64bit?
