WD500AAKS corruption data on write.

Hi, i have problems with my harddrive WD500AAKS, all data that me save or write are corrupted. I try using datalifeguard for test the harddrive (i ran the complete test) and not have bad clusters, too i used hd tuner pro and not detect any problem. Is possible that cache memory of drive are burned or damaged?. I need a logic board transplant?.

Greetings.

Re: WD500AAKS corruption data on write.

Run Windows checkdisk and error correction.  It may be able to fix corrupted files.  However, two things to consider: if you're data is being corrupted when it's written to the drive, but the drive partition is good, then either data was corrupt before you copied it, or maybe the cable or port is bad.  Switch cables and ports to see if that helps, and do a diagnostics on the source files to see if they're corrupted.
