idle head parking issue

Hi,

 

I have two drives that make head parking noises about every 5 seconds.

 

WD20EARX  &  WD10EACS

 

 

Now I was trying to modify APM with the help of Crystal Mark Info, but the slider for doing this is greyed out.

 

This seems to be a common problem and I just don't understand why this has not been addressed already.

 

Here is a short video clip describing what I mean. Don't forget to run in full screen to see better.

 

 

This frequent ticking is so annoying. What can I still do to change APM plaese?
