My Passport 1 TB keeps unmounting

I recently got this drive for my Mac book Pro, and it will unmount itself at random. I am running it in turbo mode, and I have installed the latest firmware and software updates, but it continues to do this. It will do it when password protected and also when not secure. Any ideas?

Try this Workaround
