My Passport 1TB isn't showing on my Macbook Pro [ Edited ]

I was just using my hard drive and was trying to transfer files over. The files wouldn't transfer, then stated my iTunes was corrupted. All of a sudden my hard drive wasn't being noticed and the light started blinking. I tried plugging it to another Mac but doesn't work.

Did you ever figure anything out?  When I connect mine to my computer the hard drive doesn't show up but the WD Software does.  And the hard drive is spinning so it can't have crashed...

No nothing happens. I took it to Geek Squad and it didnt appear on their systems either. I wouldnt mind formatting it, I just want my data off of it first.

When drive corruption occurs you'll need a data recovery software to retrieve the data

if that does not help then plan b will be taking it to a recovery company
