WD Drive Utility un-ending log entries.

Hello,

I have a My Book Thunderbolt Duo configured as JBODs.

It was fine then updated to latest version of the WD Drive Utility (v1.1.1.3). Now I'm getting a pair of entry in the system log file every 2-3 seconds that looks like:

5/16/12 2:25:31.591 PM WD Drive Utilities: Port = PRT0 In dealloc - mRAIDLevel refCount = 0
5/16/12 2:25:34.091 PM WD Drive Utilities: Port = PRT1 In dealloc - mRAIDLevel refCount = 0

Has anyone seen something like it?  Is this anything I should be worried about?

Re: WD Drive Utility un-ending log entries.

I want to add that this problem persists even if I quit  WD Drive Utility since the WD Drive Utility Helper is running in the background.

Besides getting the logs.. Are you able to copy and get files fine?

Re: WD Drive Utility un-ending log entries.

Some Problem here:

WD Thunderbolt 6TB used in RAID 0 Mode...

13.07.12 02:08:03,962 WDDriveUtilityHelper: Port = PRT1 CFRelease - mRAIDLevel refCount =  1
13.07.12 02:08:03,962 WDDriveUtilityHelper: Port = PRT1 Setting - mRAIDLevel refCount =  2

when i quit WDDriveUtilityHelper it stops...

but that do the logs mean?

is there something wrong with that harddrive - I don't want to loose my files...

Re: WD Drive Utility un-ending log entries.

Not sure what the logs refer to

you might want to contact support for more info

are you able to use the drive at the moment?

If there's something wrong with the drive the RAID manager will give you an error message
