What is the Driver for 'Save Shundown' function in My Book Studio II?

Does anyone know how to install the driver?  What actually the driver are referring to and where to download it?

The user manual mention:

'The Power button features Safe Shutdown, which prevents the inadvertent powering down of My Book until all data is written to the device or system. To engage Safe Shutdown, press the Power button once. SAFE SHUTDOWN is enabled only through installation of its driver, which must be installed on each system to which My Book is connected.'

if on a mac.. the best way is to eject and disconnect

you might wanna do the power thingy but the standard method is more secure.. at least for me
