My Book Essential is stuck on categorizing files and won't back up (has been working OK in the past. Any ideas?

You need to provide more information mate, like what version of smartware are you using?

Make sure the start backup button has been pressed

Thanks Wizer. I'll try starting from scratch with a clean install as a simple update won't work (seems to be some conflict with Windows!)
