Hard Drive not being recognized (makes noise when I plug it in but nothing pops up)

I've had the hard drive for about 5 months now and haven't had any problems until the power in our house went out for a few hours today. The hard drive shows up in DIsk Management and in Device Manager but not so I can view the contents. In DIsk Management there is no Drive Letter, but I'm not sure how to fix that if that is the problem.

Tryy going into disk Management and find the drive down in the bars and right click on it and select assign drive letter. Also see if it says anything there like Raw or Unallocated.

I couldn't find anything about assigning a drive but it does say it is Unallocated
