Hard to turn off power button.. how much sec it need to be pressed

I have this WD Dou who is staticallu connected over our local intranet.. on off office hours frequently the server is reset, with this my back up plan cant be finished on a 24hr state.. i do have to manually press the button since the wd discover cant locate my WD anymore..

 

how much long press sec needed ?

 

Is there a way to just refresh it virtually?

Power button?  The Duo doesn't HAVE a power button.
