Hi

I need some  help:

Brand new My Book Live Duo 4TB, plugged into the network.

Computer: OSX 10.7.3 (Lion).

In Finder, two new network device appeared:

- MyBookLiveDuo

- MyBookLiveDuo-backup

My question is what's the second one (MyBookLiveDuo-backup), and how can I remove it.

Finder can't connect to it, the connection fails, and it just clutters the sidebar for everyone on the network.

no..

that partition is for backup purposes

this is the partition created for time machine

if you want to mount that partition you can do so through samba

however, is not necessary to do that
