Re: WD Element USB sharing problems

I have a seagate FreeAgent USB drive that is formatted to NTFS. I didnt have problems connecting it up. Checkout this other thread:

One thing I noticed is it shows 0MB for few minutes. After that it showed the right size. Ofcourse I didnt see the error message you are seeing.

Re: WD Element USB sharing problems

Hey! Sorry I was away for a bit...

Well I made some tests, with a USB key Verbatim 16Gb formatted with different filesystems:

- NTFS: no problems.

- FAT32: no problems.

- EXT4: took a while but after maybe 30s, no problems.

So I retried with my Element ext HDD and decided to wait longer, but after a complete day, the HDD was still not correctly recognized and the error message came back (always the same).

Any ideas?

Thanks!
