And what are you getting as transfer rates when reading/writing from/onto the disk.. i get somewhere about 2MB/sec. Do you think that might be related to not having a N router or lack of Cat 5 cables?
[edit] After showing properly as a media server on the PS3 for 2 days the WD media server is missing today (just like before). I tried rescanning the ps3 to search for media server. I am still getting access to WD thru WD2go on Mobile and Tablet and all operations are normal on the laptop. Is anyone else encountered similar problems? I know the workaround to that but it seems not required. With the PS3 on if u restart ur NAS it will pop up as a Media Server. But i am sure it is not the correct way.[/edit]
