What does this reason for not backing up my files mean?

I have set up category backup for several drives on my desktop computer but many of the files will not back up because 'Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one username, are not allowed.  Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.'

Can anyone tell me what this means, and how to overcome it.

I am the ony user of my computer, which is on 24/7 and I also have a laptop which is set up to back up to the MyBook but is only switched on occasionally.  Again I am the only user.  I have administrator rights on both computers.

Try selecting the file backup option and see if that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Now that I have reinstalled Windows I will set up a new backup to see what happens and try the file backup option if I have the same problem.
