Back up Multiple Computers on Network with My Book Live

I am about to install a new 2TB My Book Live Network drive. I would like to use this drive to back up at least two computers on the same network. Question: Do I need to install the CD on each computer in order to achieve this?

Yes, you need to install the WD Smartware in each computer that you wish to backup.

Only if you are planning to use SmartWare to do the backups. If you are using Windows Backup or another backup utility than no you don't.

Ardvark, thanks for responding- I might prefer to use the Windows Back up software. I'll just get started and see how it goes with WD Smartware.
