Blank UI page on My Book Live

Hello All,

I just got My Book Live yesterday, the setup went fine, but later last evening I was not able to no longer access my UI. It just shows a blank screen. I am able to access my files but not the UI. Any Ideas?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Blank UI page on My Book Live

by default the MBL is dhcp.  perhaps your router assigned it a different IP and the DNS isn't caught up.  can you reserve an IP in your router's dhcp setup so that the MBl always gets the same one?

Go intor you router and find out what IP the router assigned and try typing that IP directly into your browser.

Re: Blank UI page on My Book Live

I experience excactly the same problem. My router assign a certain IP to the MBL and the same IP is put to the adressline when I try to reach the Dashboard - the page is blank. What is curious is that when I try to go to Learning center it uses the same IP like this: //"my IP"/Ul/learncenter/..... and this goes fine.

Re: Blank UI page on My Book Live

My guess there that win the firmware partition one of two, or both files have become corrupted. If you have SSH enabled then there is something you can do to get the Dashboard UI back.

Have a read of . . .

Thank you everyone for your advice. Sadly I didnt have SSH enable so I got a replacement drive. I made sure that I enable SSH this time. Thank you all.

I have the same problem... Is a replacement drive the only way for people, like myself, who hadn't the SSH option turned on?
