Hey guys,
Tried to find some information regarding my problem but to novail.
I have a 2TB My Book Live that was working fine until I moved house. It now shows a Red LED and does not read on my computer. Its as if it does not exsist. Is there a System Fault with the HD and is there a solution to fix it or do I have to replace it?
Thanks.

In the MBL a red LED can have multiple causes:
• Network cable not inserted
• Disk SMART failure
• Disk thermal warning threshold exceeded (under or over temp)
• Data Volume does not exist
• System Volume does not exist

Vadir,
I did read that in the User Manual. The cable is inserted so I am assuming it is one of the remainders. Given it may be;
• Disk SMART failure
• Data Volume does not exist
• System Volume does not exist
What would be the best measures to fix it?

I have this problem also, but with a 6tb My Book Live Duo.
Can't find any infomation about how to repair / recover the drive, and can't reach it consistantly on my network.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Whar are the LEDs doing on the MBL's RJ-45 socket?

The upper led on the RJ45 connector blinks in a semi random way, the lower one is on solid.
I can access individual files from the drive, but trying to copy multiple files results in a network name error.
