Use mybook as source for torrent library?

This will be my first Nas. Will I be able to use it plugged into my router and be able to access it from my laptop much like a usb external hard drive and be able to run utorrent on my laptop and have torrent library on the mybook?

Once you map it, you should be able to use it like a normal computer folder. Check the link below in case you need help.
