my net n900 central: can it be instructed to backup storage to USB drive on it's own?

If one attaches a USB drive to the my net n900 central can one instruct it to backup some or all of the internal storage to the external USB drive?   My desire is to command it to do so, but then shut down my laptop and have the router complete the backup on its own.   It's important to backup the internal storage now and then but having a separate computer carrying out the transfer would tie it up for a long time and bog down the network during the backup.

Nope, you can only transfer files using the computer.
