Photo details: origination date

Details button, the little i in the bottom left, displays creation date which is referencing when that specific file was made, not when the picture was taken. The info is there in the details it's just mis directing. It's using the info of when the file was placed in its current location info. Which is useless to what the info would be used for. Cause most want to know when the photo was originally taken. Would be nice too to be able to view more details.
