Elements 2TB - Very Slow Boot-up time - way to correct?

I just recently purchased an Elements 2tb External drive, and it works great and I love the storage etc.

The drive is not the fastest drive but it serves it's purpose.   The problem I have is when I have it connected (PC or Xbox360), when I boot up it causes my PC or Xbox 360 bootup time to increase by 30 seconds or so.

Is there a way to correct this...or a known cause, etc?

It's just an annoyance..but when I boot up and down my devices quite often (during peak usage times) it becomes quite a drag to have to wait that delay each time.

If you Leave the Drive Connected to Your Computer / XBOX , the  BIOS May be Looking in the External Usb Drive For a Bootable file to Boot From and Thats Why it May Cause the Delay , You Could Disable that in Your BIOS OR Just Disconnect the Unit Until The Computer or the Xbox is UP AND RUNNING :smileyhappy:

Ah...well that's a pain because I don't want to have to plug/unplug the drive all the time..that defeats the purpose.  I got it for storing movies and videos and music which is why I have it connected...

I guess it's my only solution..or just deal with the delay... :smileysad:
