Elements Desktop 3.0 when?

Elements Portable are now at 3.0. When do we see Elements Desktop 3.0?

Well, USB 3.0 getting into the market. So you should expect that unit soon.

When do you plan to introduce it?

Since I stack the drives in a column the external case is preferably identical, to keep the stack symmetric. I'm therefore reluctant to add a My Book or Seagate Expansion to the stack.

We are only the moderators on this forum, we are not marketing or engineering. We understand you are looking for device that offers the super speed transfer rate. You can find the Elements portable 3.0 at this time. However, we are not aware when any device will be release WD does not provide that information to anyone, until release date.

Thank you moderator I can accept that. In this case management need a wake up call.

At some meeting it was agreed to separate the premium (My Book) from the basic (Elements) model by keeping the basic model at USB 2.0. That's a crazy idea that needs attention. Seagate found that idea ridiculous and updated both GoFlex and Expansion to 3.0 at the same time.
