Hello!
I've a WDBAAR5000ABK, and use it with a Fujitsu Siemens latop, XP pro, sp3.
Yesterday I moved my laptop on the table, and the USB lost the connection. That used to happen sometimes before too, but the drive always reconnected, split up and start the autoplay (Sometimes it poped up the yellow "info-bubble" of XP, about "Unable to write file G:\$Mf" - or something like that.
But now, it sais the "driver doesn't exists", or the error message in the subject: "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable".
- The disk is working, the led is lighting and flashing, when its working (for example under tests)
- The disk has drive letter in Explorer, Total Commander, Disk Manager, and diagnostic programs.
- Disk manager and diagnostic programs recognize the driver (type, capacity and so on)
- Data LifeGuard Diagnostics for windows' quick and extended tests are passed
- But i cant access to my datas
So, i think, it is not a hardware problem - but what?
And how can resolve it?
Thanks for your help!
