Firmware check

My drive is sometimes not getting detected and sometime becomes offline while i am copying data and comes back automatically. i think a firmware update should fix the issue but i am not able to find any firmware. please help

Some files might be getting corrupted also, if that is the case just backup all of your files and format the HDD. You can also do a test with DLG.

No firmware update is available for this drive, you may try using an additional USB cable, not longer than 18 inches, and have it plugged directly to an USB port in computer.
