My Passport Compatibility

Hi.
Somebody can tell me if "My Passport 1 TB USB 3.0/USB 2.0 Hard Drives (WDBBEP0010BBK)" is an USB Mass Storage Class (MSC) Bulk-Only Transport device?

I have intentions of buying this model, to back up and transport some MKV files, and finally playback on my Samsung LED TV.
The TV User´s Manual explain that the power consumption must be under than 500 mA, too.

I need to know if are they compatible devices and if I need to have any other carefulness, like format..
