hi

obviously i am a total dumb **bleep**, as no way can i find where or how to post a question, request for help. so I am putting it here hoping someone will see it and either help me put it in the right section or answer my question

I am in australia.

I have recently bout a WD elements external harddrive being assured I could use it with my **bleep** smith HD digital set top box to record tv shows!  Guess what?? It wont!!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Most of the DVR's only support FAT 32 drives, this Elements are formatted in NFTS, you can try to format this external drive to FAT 32, it might work.
