320 GB scorpion blue is showing 32GB. Need help

2.5" WD Scorpion 320 GB blue is showing only 32GB.  It is the only partition shown.  I have tried to get the alignment tool from WDC after registering but everytime i try to download it, it just goes back to my WDC account home.

I tried several partition and format apps and still only able to see 32GB.    I tried reloading Win 7 and it also shows only 32 GB.

Like to see some other ideas for me to get this back to 320GB factory level.

Thanks in advance.

See Q2:

It's probably not the same problem, but the fix may be the same.

Could you tell us the brand and model of your motherboard, and your BIOS version?

BTW, some HDDs have a jumper that cuts the capacity to 32GB for compatibility with certain BIOSes. I don't know if yours is one of these.

Re: 320 GB scorpion blue is showing 32GB. Need help

Thanks for  the response.  It's actually on laptop, system bios V1.07.  There is no pins via jumps like 5.25" HD.   I have visited that site prior to posting here because a few of the solutions just did not work for me.

i am still at a loss to what else i can do.
