Hello mate,

That happens to me once . You need to take ownership of your drive, take a look to this link below:

You can try using TestDisk to mount and fix the partition

Re: Scan & fix hdd to recover data

dear Wizer,

Thanks for your reply

I tried different utility & diagonsis tools but nothing helpful, I gave it to data recovery specialist & told him its logical failure he also said its logical failure but later he said drive show S.M.A.R.T. error that means drive is diying & having bad sector he told me it will recovery physically probably & may be cost more then logical failure.

Have i screw the drive to run the recovery & dignositic tools? whats are the possibility now? having SMART error what are the option now? it will recovery physically or logicaly? how bad is it?

Thank you

Re: Scan & fix hdd to recover data

SMART has nothing to do with data access if you using correct tool set for data recovery process. Any data recovery shop that has PC3K Data extractor or DDI will be able to get your data back without opening the drive, unless heads fail during imaging.

Re: Scan & fix hdd to recover data

Now data recovery expert guy give up he said he tried to run few data recovery software it taking too much time to run diganosis & its not recoverable.

I feel it taking too much time to run diganosis & guy don't want to keep patience.

I will through it to some other expert if there is some hope

by the way thanks for your reply
