connect Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD3200BPVT to SATA1 port

hi

I have Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD3200BPVT, 320GB, 2.5", SATA2 5400rpm, 12ms, 8MB and I need to connect it to SATA1 port.

Do I need set special jumper settings for SATA1?

Even do I need to change SATA1 cable?

There are no jumper settings to make a Scorpio work as SATA I.  If your system does not detect it you may return it, and purchase a SATA I drive.  Since SATA I is actually legacy you may try on ebay.
