Gigabit & What Router?

Hey Guys,

 

I konw that the 2tb NAS White Light is capable of connecting to a Gigabit router and thus make use of a faster connection, so could anyone help me choose a good (non cable) wireless router, as I am getting fed up wiyh my present o2 Thompson router and the very slow speed..or is it just me, who is not patient enough?

hi,

 

what copy speeds are you getting from your laptop/pc to the MBW? Also is it a MBW I or II?

Hi rhohno

 

It's the White Light 1 x 2tb Drive.. As for the speed I did not make a note but I can tell you that it takes about an hour to transfer 20 gig to a USB drive connected through my Imac, and the same amount of time to copy folder contents to another folder on the drive itself.. Sorry I can't be more accurate.
