My WD Book World edition 2TB does not turn on

Hey guys,

 

My WD book World edition 2TB seems to not turn on anymore and I am not sure why.

 

It was working perfectly and now it does not turn on, no white light.

Would someone be able to help me in regards to what could be wrong with it and also how I can fix it....I have ordered another power supply incase that is the reason.  

I have a lot of important data and am very worried I can lose everything :smileysad:

The connector could have fried or the unit is defective..

 

Replacing will be easy if under warranty

 

data recovery on the other hand will be difficult... contact a data recovery company
