cant find folders/files when connecting via my Sony TV

I have WD My Book World Edition - it is connected to my wireless router and easily accessible via wifi on my laptop, all folders and files are visable. However I now have a wifi enabled Sony Bravia TV and although it connects to the network and discovers my WD, it doesnt show any of the shared folders or subsequent files. Is there something I have to do on my WD to enable other DNLA devices to read the folders/files?

 

I've tried changing permission for public access to the folder I want to share but it says access denied for changing permissions.

Hi, your TV must be compatible with the Twonky media server in the my book, check the TV manual. Also Check if you have the option to explore the my book as a shared folder instead of using the media server.
