A cable for WDBAAA6400ABK-EESN Model

Hey everone.

I have a WDBAAA6400ABK-EESN Model and its usb cable is not the same as normal usb-2-mini cable, the socket at the hdd end is different, somehow smaller.

I ordered something under the name of 'Compatible with My passport Essential' and yet they have sent that normal usb to mini cable.

Where on the net can I order the correct cable ? (for outside us please.)

The cable connection is so loose on WD end that it keeps disconnecting in windows and my partition appear and disappear and re-apprear  probably every second.

I would appreciate you guys helping me find a solution.

Wow.  Surprised noone responded yet, but It's a MICRO-USB.

Bought micro usb and it does not fit

These cables are specific to WD My Passports

May have to be ordered direct from WD.

OMG, I just ordered one of those Micro USBs last week and I was looking forward to it.

Still, the accessories on WD website do NOT have clear pictures of the connections.

Could someone please help me order the suitable cable?

Wow.   That's surprising..  I was only looking at the drive's manual, which says it's a MicroUSB...

Same with the reviews of the drive on Amazon...

Aram, please let us know what happens with the cable you ordered...

Guys I received two different cable, one of them with the name of microusb for LG cell phone, and the other was the one i search by part number.

i bought both of them from ebay. DO NOT BUY DIFFERENT MICRO USB CABLES!!

If there are long cables, probably they will not work.

search on ebay by part number and then order.

The one worked successfully on my hard rive was this one:

I didn't order it, I cannot comment. buy from ebay. just be careful because there are only a few sellers and some of them send the wrong cable. (that happened to me 1 month ago)
