I reformatted my 1TB My Passport Essential SE (USB 3.0) . Now I want the WD Smartware application back for the back-up. I tried the solution on this site:

but still it doesn't work and prompts "The Program Doesn't Start From Drive"
I also tried downloading and installing the softwares on this site:

 

http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/search/1/a_id/5419

 

still receiving the same prompts.

 

I need help! thank you.

Hi all,

My WD Elements Play cannot play many videos, some videos can be played but have no sound. Can someone please help me?
