Problem streaming to Android app

Hello PPL,

 

I got me the 2TB MBL the other day and it's great. However, I haven't been able to stream vids to my Android smartphone using WD2GO. Music and documents open fine. However when I attempt to open a vid, it tells me: "No viewer app on your device. Please download an app from the Android market to view this file."

 

The problem occurs with every filetype, including regular avi's and mkv. All movies open fine locally - so that's easy to rule out too.

 

Any ideas?

AFAIK you need a media playing app to play certain videos..
