Help: Doesn't recognize when connecting on TV

Hello, can anyone help me??

I just bought my Passport 1T  to migrate from my old PC to my new Mac, and it works fine. I had to format to Mac, so it doesn't work on windows anymore but no problem.

The only thing is, when I try to connect it to my TV to watch my movies, it doesn't recognize it. The light are on and everything, but the TV doesn't run it. Was it because I formatted it to work on my Mac??

How do I solve this? Should I download something else

It may need to be formatted FAT32 to work on TV. Try posting in the TV section.
