Is the WD external passport drive.

Is this drive regardless of GB avaliable, can it be or is it formatable, so that it can save PS3 game files.

Hello,

 

Yep the drive could be formatted as Fat 32, if you search online you will find several software to format your drive. Keep in mind WD Smartware won't work on fat 32.
