MY passport stop working.

hi , my wd passport is not detected since yesterday night while i was transfering file from my laptop. when i ejected it properly yesterday every thing wsa fine bt all of sudden today i tried to use it bt i cant as it is nt detecting and i m getting a pop up saying : u need to format ur hard disk to use it". so if i m going to formart it i will loose all my important dat....so plz help me wat to do?

You may try on a different computer, to compare.  If you have the same results the data is corrupted, to get it back you will need to use a data recovery software, then reformat the drive.
