Model WD800XMS-00 Suddenly not Recognized

Last night I removed my WD800 from one computer and went to plug it into another and it would not work after going to the second computer.  It powers up and spins initially and then it stops spinning and my system does not recognize it.  I've tried different computers and switched the USB cable.  I'm I just out of luck and or there someting I can do.

 

When I click on the "remove hardware" button there shows to be an external HDD, but it is not recognized in Explorer.  Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like the drive is dead
