My Passport 500 gb (0730) is VERY SLOW

My Passport 500 gb (0730) is having an extremely Slow transfer rates (400kb/s)!!!(win xp/7)

it's connected via the USB 2.0 hub, tried the quick formatter, updating the firemware...nothing helps.

please share me with your experience, maybe i could use it...again.

Try with another USB cable, shorter than 18 inches, and connect directly to a USB port from the computer, not to a hub. You may also try from a different computer, if there is no improvement you must replace it.
