My Passport + TV HDD

Hi guys,

 

My issue is regarding hooking my 300gb WD "My Passport" up to my TV's Hard Drive Recorder so I can play movies off it on my big screen.

 

However, the "My Passport" requires me to enter a password when initialized via PC...

 

I'm pretty certain this is why when it is hooked up to my TV's Hard Drive Recorder... it is not detected.

 

Is there any way to get this to work?

Remove the password with Smartware

 

you might need to format the drive FAT32 as well
