When I try to do this I get the message; "Can't read from the source file or disk"
I have tried on another computer but I get the same problem.
I have tried updating firmware but I keep getting the warning that the passport is not plugged in when I go to install the firmware.
I thought it could be the lead but I have tried 3 with no luck
Could anyone please help ???

Have you try using a different USB cable? Otherwise seems to me your drive is faulty.....
