Unable to access WD SmartWare Control Center, Help.

Running Windows XP, Passport listed on My Computer, WD SmartWare not listed in Add/Remove, Unable to access WD SmartWare Control Center, Help.

I have been looking last 2 days on the forums for some similar case but couldn't find anything similar. The external drive light is blinking in standby mode. It is connected through a USB 2.0 port.

Have you already tried updating to the latest version of SmartWare?

Thank you for the link. It loaded the quick view monitor and icon on tool bar. Then it took some time to load the WD Control Center. I have set some of the settings but haven't loaded anything yet. It worked. I should have asked for help sooner.

Didn't work for me. It said it updated fine but than gave me an error code 1603. My experience with this product has been terrible thus far.
