Update 4.5.4.5 won't let me back-up

I discovered that  it works by clicking in the My Passport Icon, in the Home tab.

Yes! That worked for me too. However, WD should get programmers who know that we shouldn't have to look for a solution. And since when are we supposed to know to click there. It's like an egreeting where it tells you to click on the icon to play, but they forgot to tell us. Shame on you WD.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the update three times. The result is the same it doesn't work.

I get the same garbage response from WD all the time. How about fixing the problem.
