WD my passport SE 1 TB not working on laptop

I just got a new 1TB WD Passport. I installed the WD Smartware and set a password XXXXX the drive. I get the following error message when plugging the Passport into another computer: "You must run the Unlock application from the WD SmartWare CD associated with the drive you want to unlock. Click Exit, locate and open the related WD SmartWare CD, and then run Unlock to unlock the desired drive."

It works on my other PC's I have installed the WD software but it still doesn't work What should I do?

Try updating the firmware to the latest version
