portable 120 GB hard disk damaged head

Hi

I was using a WD 120 GB portable hard disk. model : WD 1200 BEVS-75 LATO

its hard disk seems to be damaged as it is creating clicking sound.

I need to recover the data. since this is old model, getting it looks difficult. If I know which current WD portable disk is having similar media head, I can purchase that & recover my data

Any help on this will be welcome

First make sure you are not connecting with a hub and are using a cable no longer than the original. Try another cable if you can.Low voltage can cause the clicking also.

Thanks for replying & suggestions

I had tried  with different cable & also I am directly connecting to my laptop, still the problem is there

looking for a same/similar media head to recover data
