Is it normal for initialization to occur when new?

So I was able to get a great support rep at 18555565117 that agreed with me I should see the initialization on the led screen if that was the problem. He had me pull the power plug for 15 seconds. When the reboot completed I was able to continue to the IP\connect and download the software. It is now at 1% of updating and preparing my server after about 10 minutes. He told you to pull the plug?

The first step is to go to just the IP and you will get a screen that says download software.  That runs the images in my video.  /connect will give an error if server setup has not been done.

Have you completed screens that asked for the servername, password, check for updates ?

PS:  Please dont pull the plug again   At least try pressing the power button once/briefly and see if the box will shut itself down nicely.
