I have it set to backup files only and not categories as quite frankly the category idea is a bit silly (in my opinion anyway).
However every time I turn my laptop on every day it then categorizes all the files on my computer even though it has done this many times before and proceeeds to hog all of the memory.
I had heard you can get it to stop doing this but I can't see any option for this.
Anybody know how to do this so that it only backs the files up I wnat it to when i stick my drive in.
Thanks

Dude this is by design
the software needs to keep track of the data that's going to be backed up
It has been reported that the latest version does this process in a better manner
